SpainProgram Pack List
Here's a checklistof suggestions to help you with your pre-trippreparation.
LUGGAGE: Travel Light! You will be carrying your own luggage, sometimes for considerable distances, so it is important to choose lightweight yet sturdy luggage. A soft-sided suitcase that converts to a backpack is versatile, functional, and easy to handle in crowds. An internal frame pack is good, too, especially if you will be traveling after the program. A regular suitcase is fine, and is good when combined with a day pack for carrying journal, a book, your camera, sweater, and a toothbrush. As a matter of fact, everyone should have a smaller bag for weekend field trips and short excursions.
A fanny pack is better than a purse for carrying money, credit cards, and other valuables. Sevilla, like other bigger cities anywhere, has a problem with pickpockets, so it is a good idea to keep these items close to you and carry them inconspicuously.
You won't need a sleeping bag unless you plan to travel "off the beaten path" after the program. Even then, it may be more of a burden than it is worth.
Use this checklist to help in packing clothing, toiletries, documents, gifts, and other personal items. Remember: Only YOU know what reflects your lifestyle and taste, and only YOU know what you can't live without, so use these as suggestions:
